NB: This post refers to the “business model” for healthcare. It is not referring to individuals providing the front-line services in the private sector. Their priorities about care are of course the same as NHS staff.
The item above by I believe in the NHS and its staff came up in my Facebook ‘Memories’ this morning from 2013 and it struck me that two years down the line it is more obvious than ever that that is precisely what is happening right at this very moment! And the really mad thing is that WE ALL KNOW what is going on, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US!
But instead of voicing our horror about the biggest thing that has happened in my lifetime to the most precious universal service this country has to offer – and its most credible claim to Greatness, surely there can be few people reading this who haven’t had personal experience of just how fantastic the NHS can be when it is well-funded and staff morale is high – we’re arguing about Brexit (but ignoring the £350 million a day that the NHS won’t be getting), whether Corbyn is electable, or how many immigrants you can get on the head of a pin; either that or sharing cute pictures of kittens!
There are millions of you who are more than happy to copy & paste, like and share all sorts of random nuttiness, please, all I ask is that if you value the NHS that you’ve grown up with (and in all likelihood delivered you), Like, Share and Comment the hell out of this and any other post supporting our Health Service so that we can raise the level of conversation, which will show the government that we know what they are doing and we are not going to stand for it.
